Jesus christ I won't pay that much money for a huge rattlebox.

TSX > TL
It's just a car, idiot, not your brain or anything.

TSX rattles too by the way

The point is, money isn't the only reason people bought the TSX, each car is great in its own right and neither should be bashed. Hell, i would seriously think about trading my tsx for a TL if I could justify the price right now...

TSX > TL
- havent heard one rattle yet, the cars interior is quieter @ redline than when your car is idleing
- for the size and weight, the handling is excellent
- the tranny problem found in the '04s has been fixed in the '05s
- in my opinion, the gas mileage is incredible for a high performance v6 producing 270hp
- who cares if the temp is off by a degree or two, its a car not a fricken weather station

the TL and TSX are in a totally different class and uncomparable. both are truly great cars and extremely fun to drive

no need to bash the TL, MSZ. read the first part of Gibson's last post. and again.

also, MSZ & massr1 are both wrong.

-some members have rattle issues, and some are overreacting to it. some members just turn up the music and drown the little rattles (i've had a rattle here and there, but mostly because of shitty MI roads)

-handling is not boat-like, and is far better than the 2G TL, and CT RSB makes a huge difference for $110~ (best 110 bucks i've ever spent)
-tires do suck, but Acura just loves to put shitty tires (i.e. BS Turanzas, Michelin MXM4...)
-5AT issues have been addressed, although some members have reported problems with it... no confirmation yet.
-the gas mileage is poor compared to the TSX.. but then again, i'm averaging 25-26 mpg in mixed driving... 32+ on highways. not bad at all for a 3.2 litre v6
-temp is not off, but rather the reading goes blank. nothing a dealer can't fix.

let's not turn into bimmer drivers here (namely the 325/318 drivers ). everyone picks their car based on their own preference... let's try to respect that.

anyone else want this thread closed??

By perfectage more TLs have rattles than TSX. At least from what I have seen so far at Acurazine.

I haven't heard any rattles since my car reached 1,500km. My car just broke the 50,000-mark today.

We really don't need any more TL vs. TSX threads. I'm closing this one up since it has far exceeded its usefulness.
