TSXs come out very late in the model year, usually December of each year, so it will be quite a wait. If you were to wait until Jan-Feb 08 to buy a MY 07, I would expect an extra $1-2k depreciated value on the model year closeouts. Its not exactly a fire sale when it does happen, as the TSX holds its value very well. In fact, its the #1 rated car for resale, as evaluated by KBB.

I'm also looking for an 07 TSX. I have done some research and emailed some local dealers about quotes. So far the lowest quote I have gotten (with ZERO negotiation) is $26,888 (plus tax, title, reg., etc.) with no added options. That is just under $500 over dealer invoice according to edmunds.com. In my opinion, that is a great starting point.

I used the information in Sauceman's thread "Get the Dealer to Sell You at the Best Price in Town". Link to that thread is below:

It must be sans Navigation if it's less than 27K.

Correct, no navigation. I am looking to get a TSX without any options/accessories.

I went to Inskip Acura in Warwick, RI yesterday for a test drive and to have them appraise my trade-in. Pricing is going to be right around $22k OTD with my trade in. Since I owe $6k on my trade in, I'm looking at right around $28k OTD if I had no trade in. IMO, getting a car OTD for less than MRSP is a good price.

I just emailed four local dealers last night to see what the best price I could get is. I'm waiting for the 08 Accord to come out so I can see what it's going to look like first, tho. I just want to know how much to expect to pay for an 07 TSX w/navi here in DC.

I know the Accord is not going to be any cheaper than MSRP when it first comes out, tho. I might be able to get a few hundred off, but dealers don't normally deal that much on newly redesigned models.

Will you post those prices when you get them, Nogard13?

I think if you wait 3-4 more months you might get killer deals on TSX..

I agree. They're already starting their push to get the 07s out so the 08s can come in. Reports say the new 09 model will probably be a spring 08 release, so they're moving up the schedules.

when i got my 07, it was around this past december. i considered getting an 06 as well, but the price drop was pretty negligible. i just opted for the 07 b/c i'd rather get a brand new car than one that's been sitting on the lot for a year and might've incurred some exterior wear-and-tear (which did actually happen to an 06 i test drove). but that's just me.

like someone else said, it's a pretty long wait until the 08's come out.

Sure, here they are (only two dealers have given me "internet" price quotes):

Pohanka Acura: $28,752 (plus $299 processing fee)

Karen Radley Acura: $28,441.46 (plus $245 processing fee). And, yes, he did quote it with the 46 cents. LOL, I'm going to haggle him down to $28,441 even!

I'm still expecting two more quotes. By the time it's all said and done, I could probably get it for invoice with the processing fee waived. I mean, I'm not even trying here.

If the bodies aren't changing for 2008, the price won't drop all that much however, if you wait until there are a smaller selection on 07's left once the 08's start coming in (say like 5-6 months) then the price will stat dropping. I think i got my 06 AT, non navi, at one of the lowest prices on this forum. I bought it at the end of the month, and they only had 3 left. There were 2 identical ones, one of which i bought and one red 6MT w/ navi. The one i got was for $24,890 OTD and the other MT w/ navi was something like $26,250 OTD. So that was a cut of $4k!!!!

EDIT: Oh yea, and i got that via the internet, i even got another quote on one from a nother dealer (red again, which i didn't want) for $24,550 OTD.

They'll all give you invoice, and Pohanka will match the competitor's best price (-$300) to ensure they're still the number one Acura dealer in the US. Try Chevy Chase Acura, too; they'll throw in all the accessories you want.

I emailed them, too, but they have not gotten back to me yet.

I've heard that Pohanka beats the best price so I'm not sweating them that much. Once I have a low, confirmed price that I can print out and show them (in case they ask) then that will be even better. I wonder what kind of goodies they'd throw in, tho.

BTW, when I buy, I'm planning on walking in there on the 30th of the month, around 4pm or so. That should ensure I get a good price and some goodies, too.

Right now I'm waiting the 2008 Accord out. I want to see what the sedan will look like and what the engine will be (I'd rather have the V6). I have made my decision, tho, that my next car will DEFINITELY have navi. That's why I stopped looking at the Lexus IS250 and the G35 sedan, they're too far out of my price range. My max is $30K and not a penny more.

Yep, just a few days shy of the end of their month quota. They even bumped up the offer on my trade in since it had been in an accident, and modded!

End of the month is the way to go
