Illuminated shift knobs..

What do you guys think of these..

I like the blue one. It goes with the TSX gauges.

Here's a bigger pick if it in yellow..

These are pretty expensive, around $85-$100, so I assume the quality is way better than those cheap ones on ebay that have the light go out on them all the time.

And the steering wheel control lights, the Homelink lights, the underseat lights, the windshield washer lights...

Hey, you can never have enough lights....

If you're going to illuminate a shift knob, at least put the right shift pattern in there!

In that case, you'll only need something that only illuminates the gear you're in.

My AT does that for me when in sport shift. I don't even have to look down at the shifter, its right there between the tach and speedo.

Wonderful! With these we'll be able to see them at night too. So much for hunting around down there for something to push. Now, if they could only light up the ignition we could start the damn thing!:shakehd:

I would rather get a heated stick shift (if it was available)... With the temparatures we have been getting these days (-30), I would kill to get one.

i hope you are kidding, but from your signature i can assume you don't know how to drive stick.

an experienced driver will know exactly what gear and what speed/rpms their car is in by feel alone. the shift gate is burned into memory, you never need to take your eyes off road.

only to look down at dash to see you are doing 100 in a 60 zone.

I was kidding. BTW check the signature again. Spent the last 18 years driving a stick. My comments were in jest as I thought the illuminated shifter was ridiculous.

No kidding, my butt's always warm but my hands are freezing. Personally I think the metal stick is gorgeous, those look like cheap plastic.

I had that knob on my Golf for 3yrs. It was really good except the leather was starting to wear after about 2yrs. If I were to get another MOMO knob it would probably be all metal even though it sucks in winter.

Yeah I had an all metal one before too. Not only did it suck in the winter but in the summer too...I used to unscrew it and put it in the cooler when I went to the beach.
