Ok I've been doing research on this board and on Google on how to program the remote transmitter. My question is, how do you program the key so it will start the car? Do you put the key in the ignition while programming the remote? My dealer wants to charge me $103 to cut and program the key and remote. BTW, my car is an 07 tsx. Just bought it but only came with one key and remote.

 

You can't program the key, it has a transponder chip in it, locksmiths should be able to do it for you. Just go to your local Acura dealer and buy a blank key(s) and take it to locksmiths. I got my 2 extra keys cut/program by local locksmith for $64.
