I got sponsored

My 2004 NHB TSX got sponsored through a type of agency. the car got sponsored by Kyowa Racing, Tsunami Audio, Warlock Security, StreetFX , RevPM bodykits, Vertical Doors Inc., Stoner "Invisible glass", and Auto-Air Colors. These aren't full sponsorships, I pay 25% of retail price of all of thier products and when I win at a show I get the full sponsorship. I have a question for everyone sponsored here, how did you guys get started and how exactly does the sponsorship thing work? I got a show in indianapolis on June 17th and hopefully I get the Vendor Booth after I mod. Im gettin the multi-color neons, Kyowa RIMS, and a mugen kit from RevPM. anyway I wanna know what you guys think, like whoever's sponsored

So you got 'selected' at http://www.carsponsorships.com/ ??

Enjoy the scams, buying products at full retail and not being reimbursed when you don't win at a car show. I'd do some more research if I were you, you could end up sinking a lot of money for nothing, I know a guy who did this. Well, at least you get the parts, but you'll pay full price.

to be exact that thing actually works to some extent however a lot of it is a large joke in my opinion. I know someone on the inside so I got to send pictures of my car in without paying the fee. Now come on look at my car and then go to an HIN show and look at some of the cars they actually sponsor. There was a car they sponsored that had subs just in a normal box sitting in the trunk with wheels on the car not lowered with hideous vinyl down the side and a tv screen bolted to the dash. the entire car looked stupid.

what ever floats your boat man. hope you dont end up with a riced out tsx. I got my only two sponsors the real way. first you build the car up fairly well yourself meaning your money. then you can put to get a proposal if you win at fairly many shows and also attend between 6 to 10 shows a year. there are real sponsors and then basically joke sponsors. I have deemed carsponsorships.com more of a joke sponsor but not completely.

at shows they are going to put a big ugly white decal that takes up your entire windshield that has all those companies names on it. there prices are not that great really either. the stuff seems priced lower cause it isnt top quality. that mugen kit will be a knock off. the wheels are not great wheels either.

I dont have pictures of those riced out cars cause they are ugly so I dont take pictures of them at shows. however I can try to find some on the internet of them. I am sponsored by Ron Jon Sport Designs and Valvoline Synpower. I also have two proposals out right now to other companies however those will stay confidential unless I receive sponsorship from them.

Here are some.

If you notice from the above pictures they put lambo doors on everything. All three of these cars have the vertical door kits through car sponsorships. The only safe lambo door kits are made in germany and are autobahn tested and cost around 3-4k.

This S2k is the only nice car I have ever seen sponsored by them at a show. I talked to this guy at the show cause I was surprised. After talking to him I found out that He built the entire thing himself and just got sponsored for tires through carsponsorships.com.

Also just another thing. To be sponsored by carsponsorships.com you must attend atleast 3 Hot Import Night Events. The cost to enter your car in each event is $60. If you dont know how HIN events work you have to be at the show friday between 3pm and 8pm to drop off your car. The show is not until saturday from 5pm till Midnight however your car must be in on friday. I am not sure where you are located but if you are close to the indianaplolis show you may not be close to any other shows without a 3-4 hour drive. If you break contract they will charge you full price and can do so since they will have your credit card info. They normally require you to go to 2-3 other local car shows then also.

Just thought I would share a little info about car shows with you before you got into something your didnt want to. It not as simple as show up and show your car and then leave. any show at a distance of over an our and a half away I end up getting a hotel so you have to factor in that price to things you will be paying too. They will not pay for your regisrtation, hotel, or gas at all.

I understand that, but in the contract it said they WILL NOT bill me for any other expenses except for the initial $89.
