I can't believe how many under 24 own a TSX as well. Not that it isn't a great car for that age, but at least in Canada it is out of the price range of a lot of people.

Yeah, the TSX is much more affordable in the US than in Canada (it's actually an injustice I find -- no reason for such a price disparity). If we were to do this survey with a Canadian crowd only, I'm sure the "sweetspot" would be in an older age group -- perhaps, the 30-40 age group. Not a lot of new college grads (or University grads) can afford a 40K CAD car up here.
Age 30 when I got mine. Paid it myself of course.

what do you 19-22 year old's do to be able to afford a 30k car np. i am 24, i got a decent job, but a TSX is still a lil pricey. maybe because it's 10k more expensive in canada, i dunno.

What you "can afford" is very different depending on who you ask. I too am shocked at the young age and lower incomes of buyers on here. When I was in my early 20s, I was a lot more interested in paying off college loans as quickly as possible, putting as much as I could into a 401k, and buying a house (good investment). My income is much higher now, but I still hate the idea of a high car payment. It's not whether I can afford it... I guess it's all in your priorities.
