What I do is issue two commands. First 'CD play disc 4' (I think you got your disc to change) and THEN issue the next command 'CD play track 8'. I believe it should work.

Use two different commands. Use the second command after the first command has been followed up by the NAV lady.

I do it all in one comand. That is what I find so handy about it. I usually do it when I am in the Map screen, but I know it works on the Audio screen to. I have an 05 with XM so I don't know about the pre-XM cars. I have never had a problem with it. I have found that if I relax and say comands just like I am talking to another person they seem to work better, but if I try to speak clearly it messes them up. It is hard for me to relax and talk to a car. I have named my car Jeeves, I used that search engine (www.askjeeves.com) quite abit when it came out. The cars seems to be so damn smart, I think it fits.

yeah im almost positive it works on pre-xm versions because i used to use it all the time. i know i can use two seperate commands but you are able to do it all in one command. can you tell me exactly word for word what you say? maybe im forgetting something.

btw i also notice that if you speak clear and loud it wont recognize you as easily as if you just talk out normal as if you were speaking to someone...

I say "CD play disc 3 track 10." I found out that I could do this by looking at the voice comand help on the Navi screen. Just go to info and then voice comand help and pick the cd one. It should give you a list of accepted comands.

I am not able to do this either, and I tried all kinds of variations. Are you people saying that if I hit the "voice" button once and say CD play disk 2 track 5 that it will do that in one command. I'm not getting that to work at all. What is the secret??

Yes it is all in one comand. It must only be on the 2005 model. I know that they added some additional voice comands. That must be one of them. If it is not on your list, your car probably won't do it. Sorry guys!

ive used the command before when i got the car almost one year ago. i actually always considered it one of the best commands it had. when i click on the help screen on the navi, thats not even an option, but the book says it is one of the commands on the CD Voice Command List. I even tried taking the dvd out, and reinserting it but that didnt do anything.... sigh...

Confirmed... the above command does not work on my 2004 model. Perhaps updated Navi DVDs will enable it. Doesn't seem like it would require any new hardware, just some software changes.

Hmm my 2004 tells me the time when asked. Perhaps I have a "special" unit?

XM Totally ROCKS

I love my TSX, but I am not sure if it is the car or the XM. Cannot believe the little gripes from you guys. You see the name of the stream, the stream number and the name of the song, the artist, PLUS you get to listen to music music music music..
WOOWWOWOW!!!

I use it to impress hoes!!!!
Thats about it.
Unless im steering with my knee, while eating a slice of pizza, tying my tie, changing lanes, downshifting into 4th gear & the person on my cell phone is trying to tell me they really hate the song Im playing, then Ill use it to turn the fan down & switch the track.

But its annoying when I got a chick in the car &im like watch this.... "CD Play Track one!!!!!"
& it says "It is Ten-Seventeen P.M."

Im waiting for a car that has a voice recognition system that you can instruct to ..... "Initiate fellatio package"

Or "locate red light district"
