TSX Flip-Side

Got mine in June and have over 5500 miles on it. Just a note to everyone. When I went to the Acura dealership to get my oil changed they told me it was a waste and that since the engine is advanced and bla bla bla I would need to get an oil change just once every 10k miles. Shit that seems like alot of miles to get your oil changed even if this engine is "advanced."

I was told first oil change at 5,000, then at 10,000, then at every multiple of 10,000.

Picked up 8/8. 2171 miles.

My brother's 325i first oil change is at 15k miles. My friend's Isuzu Ascender first oil change is at 7500 miles. Maybe the new engine is really "advanced". If you cant trust Honda tech on your car, who can you trust?

12,000k. My acura dealer told me to get the oil changed every 3-5k. The manual says 10k under normal conditions and 5k under severe conditions.

I have over 12,000 miles also, and I have been getting my oil changed every 4000 to 5000 miles. I got it changed at 4300, then at 8200, and i am about to get it changed again at 12500. I have had no problems as of yet.

7900 miles so far & have had 2 oil changes - 3000 & 6000. Dealer told me it wasn't necessary to change so often but I insisted.
