How long is the standard factory warranty?

According to Acura's site std. warranty is now 4yrs/50k miles. Did this happen recently or has it always been like this? Do I have a 50k mile warranty on MY05?

It's 3 years / 100.000km for us in europe. After that it can be extended with 2 more years for a big 'fee'.

All acuras carry a 4yr/50k mile warranty :-).... At least since 03, but I'm sure longer than that (I bought my first acura in 03)

They change it every so often.

In toronto canada my old acura 1992 was 4 years 80,000KM.

My current tsx is an 2004 and its only 3 years/60000KM. Which i have passed just after the 2nd year. For the 2005 and up they extended it to 4 years or 80000km.

I don't know what their policy is in Canada but in the United States I can tell you that Acura warranty has been 4yrs/50k miles since 1998 because I have a 1999 TL which came with that.

it's funny, in europe we get less warranty than over here in us, yet honda is kind of generous compared to most other non-asian car manufacturers that only give a 2-year warranty.

Current warranty for Acura TSX in Canada is 4/80,000 km for pretty much everything, 5/100,000 for major components. From the Acura Canada site:

Most German brands only give 2 years warranty here also, which means Honda is even more generous :-)

That's because they only last a couple of years before they start having problems, and Honda can give a longer warranty because they don't tend to fall apart until a decade later if at all ;-P

reliability ftw

They changed it to 4/80,000km for the 2006 model year I believe. My 04 is 3/60,000km.
