How long did it take for your TSX to come in?

His is a 5AT, but that wouldn't stop production of that combo. Sounds like your dealer put down ebony instead of parchment and is covering his ass

Also, there seems to be a fundamental misunderstandng of what an "order" is. Just to be perfectly clear, dealers order cars about 3 months in advance of the car arriving on the lot for sale. BUT there is a steady flow of car "in the pipeline" and since to color combinations are liminted, there is a good chance that the car you want is already ordered. In this situation your name is placed on a car on the way,. thus shortening your waiting period. If they are able to dealer trade, this could also shorten your waiting time.
Trust me, if you walked in and wanted a combination not already on order, you're waiting 3 months.

Current '06 TSX Owner
At long last, she's finally arrived.
I placed an order in Austin, TX for a Royal Blue Pearl/Parchment/6MT/Navi on March 3 and was told by my dealer that it arrived yesterday (April 10) -- a wait time of 5 weeks and 3 days. I'm planning on picking it up tonight, and I know that it will have been worth the wait.
I wasn't originally in the market for a new car as I was hoping to get at least 3 more years out of my 1999 Honda Accord Coupe (which I bought new), but it developed a crack in the engine head last Feburary at only 130K miles (still can't believe it, as I've taken good care of the car -- never redlined it or raced it). Instead of spending the nearly $3000 to replace the engine, I decided to sell the car to my mechanic. Some really nice friends have allowed me to borrow their cars for the past five weeks so I could get around town, but I'll be really glad to have a car I can call my own again.
This forum has been a huge help to me and I really appreciate everyone chiming in with their helpful thoughts and suggestions.
