how does ECU work?
what exactly does the ECU do? does it monitor an individual's driving habit (fast or slow) then adjust things such as acceleration speed and throttle response? I've got a loaner TSX, same exact car (4k mile on odometer) only it's 10k miles less than my car and feels so much more responsive on the throttle and so much more powerful than my car. I know there are other factors involved such as break-in and things like that, but what is the main attribute to the difference in the 2 cars? maybe i've always been babying my car and not really flooring it as much, can that be the reason why my car is less responsive and seems to have less power?
If you really want to know, then read here. But I believe the lack of responsiveness is due to your heavier wheels/tires combo. Just test it by reinstalling the oem wheels/tires and see what happens.

now what in the hell does that have to do with this thread?
it would be nice if we had a tuner chip for our ECU..... i guess you might be best off unplugging the battery, make sure u keep it off for a bit so things start to reset....like a computer im assuming
