if it was 2005 (new body style) then it was not a cobra. i don't even think you can buy the rear bumper or the badges yet. if it's SVT, then it had to be the fox body. in which case, i definitely don't believe you smoked him:

390 bhp.

if he was actually racing you, and you smoked him, i only wonder how his clutch it doing since he doesn't know how to drive.

The 2003 SVT convertible can do 0-60 in 4.9 and the 1/4 in 13.1 @ 110mph. No idea how fast the coupe is, but it's got to be a little quicker.

The TSX would lose a drag by 15+ car lengths.

yeah, it's pretty much a no contest. our car is fun, and i love it. but to say you beat anyone in a race is almost completely absurd. there's few cars out there that we could "smoke"

but it's nice to have dreams

if u let them get to you about having a less powerful car in drag racing then its your problem. drag racing takes as much skill as it takes to take a piss, especially since a good amount of ricers out there have autos.

There's no way he was racing you. It can do the quarter mile 2 seconds faster than a TSX on it's best day. That's about 150 to 160 feet over a quarter mile.

Wouldn't you? They even say that the new Mustang is inspired by the late 60's models.

you can't burn a car that's not trying. there is not even a remote chance you could burn a cobra in a tsx. not even a little.

i think retro is the appropriate word for a lot of new cars that have been redesigned.

yep.

seriously though, so many manufacturers are turning back the clock to the old designs. the concept for the new camero is sweet. the charger is nice (would be nicer in 2 door), chevy has some retro vehicles, and chrysler seems to be going retro also.

the mustang is definitely like the late 60s early 70s models. i love it.

I smoked a Corvette Z06 the other day. He was in the right lane and I was tooling down the left lane and I smoked right past him and blew his doors off so bad they actually went flying into a farm field and killed a cow.

on my way home from work today, in my jetta rental car, i blew by a lambo, he didn't know what hit him. it was really amazing, he tried so hard to catch up, but the jetta shot wings out and started flying, and the jet engines kicked in. he never really had a chance.

Dude, don't even compare a Jetta to a TSX! The wings on the Jetta are cheap pieces of shit and good luck with those jet engines after 50k miles! My buddy had a Jetta and he had to replace the afterburners TWICE. There's no comparison, you are an insane idiot.

Also, no way did that other dude win Monaco in a TSX. I think he's lying.
