I bought my 06 TSX (Non nav) a few weeks ago. So far so good, but I want to upgrade the stereo. I went to a local shop and got a couple of ideas for systems. Here is what I have so far:

6.5 JL component set for the fronts TR650CSI
6x9 JL pair for the rear TR690TXI
10 inch JL sub with box W1V24

Boston GT40 driving the front speakers and sub
Boston GT20 driving the rear speakers

Im keeping the factory head unit

What do you think?

BTW, the guy is trying to sell me a LOC (JL clean sweep). I havent showed him the post by El-D yet. But, would an LOC benefit me with the setup I have above? Its like $350 which is a nice chunk of change I can put towards another use. PLUS the volume control for the LOC wont work with the factory head unit or the volume control on the steering wheel.

im using a LOC that i bought for 20 dollars which works perfectly fine .. i'd say you go for a better sub than just a 10'' w1v2 ...
