Help me find front lip

Hi guys,

I'm new with the TSX. We built a TSX race car as you can see in my website at http://www.prima-racing.com

I'm looking for a front lip with a flat bottom so I can attach a front splitter to it easily. If you guys have any lead, preferably with a picture, I appreciate it very much.

Hey Andrie, this is Vincent, with the Prelude. Welcome to Acurazine. It's nice to see you here. Are you looking for just the lip or a whole bumper?

BTW, are you going to be at the Time Attack in Calif. Speedway this weekend?

Hey Vince, how things going? Thanks for the welcome.
I'm looking for just the lip if I can. I like the current bumper.

Yes, I will be at the time attack this weekend.
See you there?

I think most of the lips out there are not flat on the bottom. If I come across one, I'll let you know. What material of splitter are goning to be using?

Yes, I'll see you at Calif. Speedway. Are you bringing the TSX to the time attack?

the only lip that is somewhat flat on the bottom for the 06+ is the mugen lip. other than that you will want to start looking for full bumper replacements, or possibly swapping to an 04-05 bumper and using one of the lips that fit that.

Mugen Front Lip for 06-08 TSX:

that's the best you're going to get for a flat bottom.

have you thought about contacting RTR? i know they would be a competitor esstionally, but they have a good splitter for their race cars.

I'm sorry, but I think that lip is ugly. Not really flat as well.

I did find some that are flat. But for older bumper. I do really like the 06 bumper look. 5zigens, visage and value, I think all have flat bottom. I might have to go with kenstyle replica. But I hate running fiberglass bumper as rock chip really shows. I'm not sure if kenstyle bumper is low enough either.

Anyone have kenstyle bumper on their cars that live in the bay area or will be at time attack in LA this weekend?

That was the first place I look. They built top notch stuff. But they also cost an arm and a leg
I'm trying to keep my limbs so I can still drive

yup, that's the best bet.

but honestly, what the OP wants does NOT exist.
so either new bumper, or... well, he needs a new bumper.

The other problem that I'm running is the rule only allows running stock type bumper. It can be replica, but has to shape the same. I'm really liking the 06 bumper. However, it looks like I might have to use the 04 bumper. The Kenstyle, I might be able to get away with since it looks very similar to stock.

The Mugen one looks a bit too wide like theres too much on it. If that makes any sense. But a racing tsx ooo I like the sound of that.

That Wald lip looks nice. Anyone know if that can be modified to fit the 06 up bumper? Is the contour of the bumper the same? Can I just cot the top curve/wrap around part on that lip to fit onto 06 up bumper?

Probably NOT possible due to the difference foglight design in 05/06.
