Headroom issues
Here is a question that I wondered about for a while: Why do I fit so well into my TSX? I have short arms and I like to sit really upright, so I have had a lot of headroom issues in cars. Suprisingly, I could not fit into the G35 at all. When I got the seat adjusted the way I want, my head would sometimes crash into the roof. I had a similar problem with the Accord Coupe - could not fit into at all. If I had bought an Accord, I would have had to go with the sedan - for this reason.
Yet, on paper, the G35 has more headroom than the TSX, and the Accord Coupe has about as much headroom.
So, why is it that my actual experience with headroom does not map onto the numbers? I fit better in the TSX than I do in cars that are supposed to have more headroom.

LOL! I've been driving for 25 years. The idea of lowering the seat had already crossed my mind!
Seriously, I think you may have the right idea. I think it has to do with the shape of the seats. I know I fit better in the 2003 TL-S than in the base model. The sporter seats just seemed to have me lower in the car.

I don't know. This is one of life's big mysteries, as far as I'm concerned.
I'm just shy of 6'2", and I've got like a half inch of clearance. It's annoying for my hair to be chafing against the top, unless I'm completely centered or shifted slightly to the right (where the opening of the moonroof creates a half inch or so of extra space)... or slumped in my seat with bad posture.
And yes, I've played with the seat, lowered it all the way, telescoped the steering wheel all the way out in order to push the seat back further where there is a little extra roof height.
This is possibly the main reason that's keeping me from buying this car right now. Maybe I'll wait 'til some big boy sells their TSX in a year, with lived-in permanently compressed seats.

well, of the cars I've been considering, I will fit in any car that doesn't have the moonroof.
But if there is a moonroof, the order of best to worst that I've tried are: Passat, Infinity G20, Mazda6, TSX, in that order.
The Passat is the clear winner in this category, with the most headroom. The others are huddled together, but in the relative order that I've listed.

Why is it when you get married car head stops
And damn I never thought of it but that telescopic wheel would have perfect throughout the highschool days
Hey Combustible,
replace the driver seat with a race seat. It should give you almost 2 inches extra... On top of that, the seat will be firmer so your but is going to hurt... Like that, you won't think about your hair chafing against the top...
Just kidding

I had the same experience with the Passat. I fit better in that car then I do in the TSX, which is saying something.
