I also think memory mirrors linked to the memory seats (on the 06s) are a good feature.

There's 2 good things about this feature:
1. helps you park the perfect distance from the curb. It helps ou see how far away your wheels/tires are away from the curb. Perfect for rim scratch prevention.
2. Helps in seeing what is behind you when in reverse. So it can actually help prevent you from running over something beind your car in your blind spot

I think it would be a nice feature

The feature is really handy when it comes down to parrell parking really, cause around the city you only get about 4 inches in front and back of you, 6 inches around at best. Having the mirrors rotate down all you to see the curb if no-ones ever seen it before. And by having a good view of the curb, u can judge how close you can get w/o scratching up your rims. Its not hard to get into a spot, its just tricky getting close to the curb (like an inch or 2 off) everytime.
I wish I had that on my sisters civice. Once the curb slanted in and it was a high curb also. I didn't know and you really couldn't tell that there was a slant by the curb it was extremely subtle, but large enough that parking straight isn't parking straight. I proceeded to park like I always did until I heard - SSSZHHZHHZ. Luckily I was going slowly so I was able to stop before It got too bad, but now her rims have a semi-deep scratch across one of the spokes. Could've been prevented if I actually saw the curb slant in/out.

But sometimes my mirror has trouble going down, it seems like one of the gears are missing teeth. It kinda just stays in one place for a little while.
