Hi Guys!! I just bought a 06 TSX about a month ago. I am having problems with the Hands Free part of the system...and the guys at the dealer can't seem to help with it.

Anyway.... when I make a call through the hands free and the call goes to voice mail, the handsfree won't let me hang up. I litteraly have to pick my phone up and press the end button. This does not happen when the call goes through and I am actually speaking to someone. This totally defeats the purpose of 'hands free'! I went to the dealer last night and tried to get someone to help me with it...but they had no clue as to why it does that. We tried it in another 06 tsx, to see if it was a tech issue in just my car, but the other TSX did the same thing!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

What bluetooth phone do you have? The HFL in Acura's are not fully compatible with every bluetooth phone out there. I have the same problem with my Samsung D900.

I can make calls and hang up so long as I get a connection (ie: the other party picks up or hits a voicemail). But I can't hang up the call on the HFL if the phone is only ringing and the other party does not answer - I have to manually end the call on my phone like you do.

I had a Moto V3 before and every function worked perfectly with the HFL - kind of regret switching phones.

 

I have a Samsung A950...Yeah, I bet your right...I am sure it's the phone....BUMMER!!!!

 

Same problem with the Samsung A900. Check www.handsfreelink.com to check for compatible phones.

Same situation with me. I have Sprint's Samsung A900 and it will not end the call. Dealership service guy used his RAZR to test and worked perfect. So some phones must not be fully functional.

 

is there any way to reset the hfl without taking it to the dealership? i cant remember what i set the password to lol..

 

Wow, that sucks. I wonder what causes it. If it's the HFL needing some software update then it might be fixed in the 08. If it's the phone's that just do not offer that capability then we might be out of luck.
