Had an 06 TSX for a while, faster than RSX?
I race with my 06 TSX alot to be honest, hitting 120 most of the time, and really stretching the car to its limits.
I have another friend who has an automatic RSX (Not type S). He always races around too, but everytime we are about to race each other, he backs out and says he'll feel bad when he burns me.
Its pretty annoying because I'm fairly certain I'm faster.
Who would win in a straightaway race?

As you can see from the above posts, most car enthusiast forums do not condone street racing. Every car race bust, accident, or even near-accident gives our hobby a bad name. Racing on the street isn't cool...road conditions are not controlled (for example, maybe a pothole had just developed the night before), and you never know when an innocent bystander might just be around the corner.
Racing on the street can have some hefty consequences if caught...and you can have some hefty consequences as well if you try to avoid being caught... ;-)
You should only race on a race track. Check your local track...there should be a time where you can come and race. Road conditions will be well controlled, and you'll be able to measure your reaction time and quarter mile time.
By the way, welcome to AZ

yes TSX IS faster than RSX, but why do u wanna drive your TSX in local road/highway 120mph most of the time
and why does your friend with RSX (not type S)/automatic races around...
like i dunno... i can drive my parents ML 350 with 5 speed dumbslow automatic and beat rsx easy....
even if i had a Ferrari, i wouldn't do that
there's something called Dyno to understand your engine better and Track day where you really show off driving and performance.

Driving Fast Is So Coool... -_-
Eventhough I do not condone "street racing." Your TSX will rape a BASE RSX and any Scion tC *just incase that will be your next post* you see. Unless, you can't drive for jack crap lol

tsx 5at vs rsx 5at and the same year... (the rsx got a hp upgrade in 05, tsx in 06 of like 10 hp) would be very close.
i would honestly say the rsx might actually win. reason being it weighs a good 550 pounds less than a tsx 5at, and has more or less equivalent torque to the type S model anyway.
