grease marks

grease marks

Hey guys..
i got my car in December 04 and its a PWP. There are some grease marks along the side of the car.. i think its from the door grease... any ideas? there's a long line that runs parallel to the door crack.

I think its two questions.

1) What do we think the source of the grease marks are? (maybe one of us has had the same problem).
2) How do I clean it?

Posting a pic would be most helpful, otherwise, a better description of the grease mark (both sides?, how long, color of grease, etc.) would give us a better idea of what we're dealing with.

I would leave it, the grease might make the car go faster by making the wind slide off the sides of the car better.


Water + Soap= no grease

Gibson6594= some people rely too much on this forum for advice
