Grandmother wrecked the TSX......

Well, I just got home from work to find out that my Grandmother had crashed the TSX into the back of some guy's truck today. I was, to put it mildly, a little displeased. Anyway, the front bumper is pretty much screwed but everything else looks fine. The collision was at maybe 15-20 mph. I'll try to post some pics soon. Does anybody have a ballpark on what this is gonna cost? Like I said, the whole front bumper will need to be replaced but the grill is ok as are the headlights, fenders and hood. My car doesn't have the foglights either so no problems there. Man, this sucks......

Okay...

Rule #1 Don't let your Grandma drive your TSX
Rule #2 Don't let anyone drive your TSX unless they contribute(d) to its payment.
Rule #3 Don't let anyone look at it unless they have a TSX or are planning to buy a TSX in the next day or are a qualified mechanic (this may or may not include an Acura mechanic)

for 15 to 20mph that isnt too bad that it is just your bumper.

you can get an aftermarket if you want now...

i have crashed a car at like 10mph and done much worse , ruined the hood and a xenon headlight, and grill... (it was a g35.... sigh)

so true.

Luckily in my case, rule #2 doesn't apply.

Dude that sucks,......poor TSX. I fall under Rule #2. I am ALWAYS worried when my dad takes the car anywhere. He has been taking it to work this past week cause he is prob gonna buy a new car and the tires on his infiniti are shot. I get mad at him though cause the co worker he drives to work tracks all kinds of salt into my ultra clean interior making it look like crap. HOW DO YOU GET SALT ON THE DASH?????

$4,000 for a bumper cover, maaaaybe a bumper support and paint? not likely. Bumper cover is $250-$300, bumper support is around $150, then painting would vary.

I don't even let people eat in my car... including my parents (who helped me buy it).

exactly no one eats in my car. I make them stand out side of the car to eat or wait till we are somewhere and can stop.

Yeah, I have a slight problem there... b/c my 16 mth old boy can't very well sit outside and eat, but I don't let him eat when I'm taking him to or from the in-laws during the week. However, we just took a trip to VA and my wife fed him in the back. All-in-all it went well... a few crumbs here and there. When you have a screaming 16 mth old and food is the only thing that calms him (oh, I also had a DVD of the Wiggles on ) I felt that eating in the car was better than starving him.
