Good price for 07?

Hey everyone---I'm super close to getting my 07 TSX w/o NAVI and was just curious about numbers. I've been doing my homework by shopping around, reading the forums, etc.

The dealer has offered me a 2007 TSX w/o NAVI for 26,450. I was hoping to get the all season floor mats and/or trunk liner thrown in as well.

Should I try and get the price even lower? Have people purchased their cars for under invoice?

Seems like a great price.

Only time i heard of people getting under invoice is for leftover 06 models. If you can find a dealer who has one left then you can work that angle. But I couldnt find any near me and this was couple of weeks ago. So we picked up a 07 for 28k with navi.

i got my 07, auto non-navi for $26 and change out the door.

dealer claimed that they were selling it below invoice, but based on the research we did before purchasing, i think it was still slightly above.

i think it's a pretty good deal. if you can milk it for some of the mats and tray, go for it. the stealership we went to were pricks, so we couldn't get much more than a pretty decent price out of them.

pricing an 07

We are also very close to purchasing the 07 TSX but want the NAV version. It is pretty easy to find what the dealer invoice price is suppose to be, but very hard to find out whtat the dealers "Cost" really is (after holdbacks etc).

I don't mind paying some markup, after all if they weren't there how would we test drive the vechicle, but I don't want to be taken advantage of either.

Does anyone know where to find the infomration of a dealers "true" cost?

Seems like the 26K for the non-nav TSX is a great price!

Well I believe the Acura dealer holdback is 3%of the MSRP. So if thats the case they will get about 3% of $30,760 which is $922. So you can always try to get the price down with that in mind. But I am a big believer that if you can get the car for invoice you received a good deal.

Holdback is usually non-negotiable. If the dealer wants to let a car go before the published invoice because they can still make money because of holdback, it's up to them.
