I will be in Anaheim Wednesday August 17th around 2pm and then leaving Sunday August 21st around noon.

Oh, you missed our Huntington Beach TSX meet by a couple of weeks. We had it this past Sunday, 12 TSX showed up (including 1 turbo).

I didn't get his name. He's working on a prototype that he hopes to offer as a kit in the future. Looked very sharp. He showed up after I snapped my pics so I didn't get any either. Hopefully someone else from the meet can offer more info.

If you're staying in Anaheim you'll be close to some very nice Orange County beaches. Huntington Beach and Newport Beach are both excellent. Farther south is Laguna Beach, check out the main beach and there are also some great coves.

SoCal beaches are experiencing "red tide" which makes the water look reddish/brown/muddy. Hopefully that will have gone away by the time you visit. The day before you head to the beach you might want to look up and call the Huntington Beach or Newport Beach lifeguards to see where you can go to avoid red tide.

Its not harmful, just not good looking. If it was harmful then "no swimming" would have been posted.

Hmm.. Let's see.. Fugly. 2 inches short of the height requirement, all my own teeth (I keep them in a jar on my bed stand). But I do drive a TSX does that buy me any leeway?


If your looking for recommendations in the OC area, I'd suggest Newport Beach, Laguna Nigel/Laguna Beach area. If your into the party/college crowd scene - Goat Hill Tavern on Newport Blv in Costa Mesa.

 

Not really into the college scene anymore, most of them are annoying as heck (please refrain from commenting about me ) and Im more of a martini girl, not beer

You can do a pretty good pub crawl down Main St. Huntington Beach (sorry, don't know nuff bout martinis). For shopping, South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island (Newport Beach).

Lol- Figured it best to err on the younger side than older, bit past the college scene age myself. For Martini's and music you can check out Martini Blues in HB (http://www.martiniblues.com/ ) depending on where in Anaheim you are there are few places on State College by Anaheim Stadium (I refuse to call to call it that power company Stadium), Catch 22, Charley Browns, etc. Ton's of great places for dinner and drinks with friends.
