Fun with voice recognition
I'm clearly a newbie, but I'm starting to think of the fun you can have with the car.
For instance, if you are driving down the road with the radio on and your buddy asks: "what time is it?" becuase he doesn't see the clock in the center consol. You hit the voice button (radio mutes) and say "what?" at the same time. If he speaks clearly, the car will respond with the time!
I might just be a little too excited about having the new car, but I bet there are other little things like this that you can have fun with passengers.
Anyone done this? Are there other voice commands that will apply to general scenarios like this?

Lol, there was a thread about using the voice recognition over at the tl forums. One guy said that he had a little argument with his girlfriend, so he pressed the button and said, "computer, eject passenger seat!". She gave him a surprised look until she heard the car say "pardon?" Priceless.

I have fun saying swear words and seeing what the closest real command is. Like if I say "suck my c@#k whore", the car might answer back "CD track four".

That is great !! I think the Navi would be worth it just for that.
or a DMX WUH!!!!! lol i remember talkin all kinds of shit to mine and then it would come up with the stupidest answers ..i told it to fuck off and it turned the radio off on me lol i think mine needs an attitude adjustment
Let's get together behind this one...
Like I mentioned in a previous thread, we all need to lean a little on the Acura software team...there's no reason to simply be limited to "male" and "female" voice packs. Microsoft has dozens to choose from (granted, the only intelligible ones are, coincidentaly, generic "male" and generic "female") Regardless, I want to hear directions like they're coming from a post-coke hit Marilyn Monroe....WHO'S WITH ME!?

YES!!! As soon as dual layer DVD-burners came out, I'm gonna see if I can't reprogram the Navi DVD to have a more "sensual" voice pack, also maybe it's possible to skin the Navi ala winamp.
