Front Bumper Alignment

After I pulled my front bumper off to replace my fog light on my 07 TSX I found that I doesn't align perfectly like it did before I took it off. I believe this was the first time the bumper had been removed on the vehicle. It was secured pretty tightly. Anyways, now underneath the front headlights I have a little space maybe a mm or 2 wide. You can see the clips/tabs if you look closely. Maybe I'm just a perfectionist but I know the bumper was tight to the lights originally and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I already pulled it off again to try and fix it but figured I'll have to wedge a piece of pipe under the tab bracket to push it up for any results. Only thing I can think of. Does anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

common problem. My cpo 06 has a few mm gap on the left headlight. You can almost see the clips if you really look. I've seen many tsx's with this. It's probably just bad design I haven't heard of a surefire fix short of replacing the bumper or all the clips.

after I had the foglights replaced on my 06 tsx, the bumper did the same thing. The dealer tried to fix it but eventually it would pop out again. I just hit the bumper with my knee.

When you remove the bumper, any part for that matter, it will loosen lightly and not be the most perfect fit from then on like when it came from the factory. That being said, mine isn't as close as when it was first on there but you can barely tell a difference. Make sure you have all the tabs in the bumper that are under the light lined up and clipped in. Assure that the liner all around the bottom and side of the car is set in there nicely. If just one part is out or not perfectly aligned it'll affect the rest of it. Just make sure it's all lined up and done right, if so, then you'll just have to live with it. A cost all modders have to pay lol. I've scrapped so much that my bumper prob forced itself more into the car haha. When I park at my parent's house in their drive way I 90% of the time scrape, one time it even popped the wheel liner out. It sucks since I know how to drive lowered and take angles etc, just some places you have no chance lol.

My 07 has that gap on the left headlight and the clips are noticeable. when i bought it new, i asked the dealer if they can do anything about it... well they tried but no difference. took me about a couple of months to get over it.

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah I've made sure the tabs are aligned correctly. I even pulled it back off to double check b/c at first I figured just one tab was catching or something. It seems to me, at least from what I can see that the bottom of the tabs get worn and it possibly makes it harder for them to completely snap back over and down on the bracket when the bumper is put back on. I will probably just have to live with it. I tried to bend the bracket up to force the bumper to sit higher but it doesn't seem to stay. If I decide to brace it up with some metal piping I'll let everyone know how it worked out.
