Freeway wind noise prob w/ window all the way up?
I posted this in the probs and fixes forum as well, but this forum moves much faster and I had better exp getting my prob solved here.
Well today I noticed wind noise coming from passenger side window. It sounds like high pitched whistling. It only happens at higher speeds (60mph+)
All the window were up all the way.
Any one experience this? Any fixes yet? Pls help!
Thanks!

Turn your stereo volume up to 5. I would be concerned if you still hear the whistling noise. Otherwise, don't sweat over it.

Have you checked underneath the front bumper, that some candy wrapper or something hasn't gotten caught in the seams in the plastic panels? I had my EL up to highway speeds, and as soon as I hit about 100Kph, an ugly, loud almost grinding type noise started emanating from in front of my driver's side wheel. When I got to my destination, I reached underneath the front bumper (on a hunch), and pulled out this plastic wrapper from a juice box...that was the fix!
Of course, it could actually be a window seal or something. But, keep in mind, that no car is perfect...there are lots of BMW and Mercedes (heck, probably even Ferrari and Lamborghini) owners that have a problem with their car, even when brand new. Just take 'er back to the dealership if it's not something obvious (like a drinking straw stuck in the bumper or something).
Oh, and before anyone asks, I work at schools, so there's occasionally "lunch garbage" floating around the parking lot.
