FM Antenna Lead?
I'm trying to do a Sirius install in my 04 non-navi. I want to use the FM antenna lead but can't find it. An earlier thread by MrChad...

...says it is under the CD tray, to the right. This is not correct! (Apologies MrChad.)That antenna lead is for AM, not FM. When I disconnect this lead, I lose the AM reception but FM is unaffected. It's still perfectly clear. If I connect my FM Modulator into this lead, the signal if worst than if I have no antenna connected at all.
Does anyone know where the FM lead is? Anyone with a shop manual that shows this?
I purchased the FM Modulator after reading the MrChad thread because I thought it would be an easy install. It's not!
Anyone else connect an FM Modulator to the correct antenna lead?
Thanks for any info and apologies to MrChad, but I think the info in his thread is unintentionally misleading. Sorry if I have this wrong.
Any info on this would be appreciated.

Did you get this done? Where are you putting your antenna? I am interested in doing this too, but don't want the Sportster4 antenna outside my car. Know of any antenna options where we coudl use a fin or something?
There is only one antenna lead, and that is where it's at. Try switching to a different FM station and verifying that disconnecting it doesn't have any effect. My guess is that you were trying a FM station with a very strong signal.
So when you plugged the Sirius unit into the antenna, then it didn't improve the sound of your Sirius radio?
To be honest, hardwired is the best route if sound quality is your priority.

Do you have any pics of your install?
The antenna lead is behind the pocket in the center dash to the right. There is only one antenna wire for FM and Am and thats it. If you connected it and it still did not work then you are doing something wrong. I install these all day at best buy and we use it all the time. Try switching the fm modulator station on the radio. Is it the FM Mod from sirius or some ghetto one? The sirius one is the best. Sorry you cant get it to work but that is the correct lead.
