Fish JDM Headlight on Ebay

Has anybody purchased these for their TSX?

FISH JDM HEADLIGHT 04 05 06 07 08 ACURA TSX + HID BULBS (#150401744184)

I am in the market for new headlights because I went a little too harsh trying to clean bugs off of them. Headlights work just fine, the plastic is a bit scratched up. Would like to replace them but OEM lights are a bit on the expensive side.

Not Honda OEM, but it is OEM replacement.

how scratched up are they? They sell pre cut tint strips for headlights and tailights on ebay for like 20bucks...you can throw em on there, upgrade the look of your headlights and cover the scratches...just a cost effective alternative

A few members have bought these headlights and used them on their cars. I haven't heard any complaints yet.

They even said the beam and prism were just like OEM

I basically took the rough side of a sponge to try and remove a bunch of bug and road grime... Note to self, never do that again!

I might do that as an cheaper alternative. For those that have done this, how big of an effect is there on the light output? Any pics? Thanks!

Checked it out. Will be 390 for the pair for an 06. Thanks. I might lean towards the pre-cut tints. I think that might go better with the Carbon Grey Pearl and the tinted windows.

If it's just scratches, you could try to buff/wet-sand/polish them back to normal.

These are the same ones. They just added 06 07 08 cause they probably just found 04-05 are interchangeable with 06-08 lol.

alot of members from the other club have this n its to be of good quality....n yes there interchangeble for 04-05 and 06-08... the diff is if its going on a 06 the ballast does not fit underneath the headlighth= but you can manage around that n just screw 2 out of 3 screws and your good...

I'll send him a message via Ebay. Since I'm just trying to get new headlights replace the plastic lens cover I really don't need the lense or the bulb. Would I need to buy new turn signal bulbs. I'm doing this for my wife's TSX. On my TL I had my headlights cleared and color matched SSM and ended up having to get the chrome amber bulbs for my turn signals.

I just checked out the s forums and it looks like guys were either getting a converter (04-05 ballast) or installing it upside down with two screws and using electrical tape.

Yeah you're gonna need new turn signal bulbs. I got the chrome amber bulbs you are talking about for mine on ebay for like $10. Also got some led's for the corner parking lights. If you want those as well, might be a good idea to get them before installation (as they aren't as accessible as other bulbs to change when headlights installed)

I had them before getting a set of the JDM lights for my car. For the 04-05 they fit fine, 06-08 need to modify to fit their ballast or else get the ballast for the 04-05. The fit on the car isn't flush but isn't anything too horrible. I got it in a group buy off the other forum, around 300ish last year.

The projector cutoff is not as good as OEM, by far. It has a batman cutoff pattern on the sides (best way I've seen it described):

_______-----------
<_................._>
..<_.............._>
.....<_______>

I suck at making these things but it's similar to the bat signal lol. Ignore all the periods in there since when I posted it erased the spaces because there were so many I imagine. The "_" are there because that is sort of the straight line I saw in the projector pattern. The edges cut off sharply and do not spread out the way the OEM ones do. Granted, the OEM projectors are arguably the 2nd best out there behind the S2K imho.

As for quality, they're well made and I didn't have any issues with them. The person I sold them to hasn't reported any issues either, well over a year so far. No fogging, condensation or anything. They are packed super well and shipping was rather fast. No complaints about them overall besides mediocre projector side spanning. The cutoff was decent too.
