feedback from canadians

hey "future" TSX bros...

im looking at picking up a new 2004 TSX and just want to get some feedback on the price. i was dealing with woodbine acura in toronto today and basically, i think i can get the car for $30K + my honda civic out the door. my 1998 honda civic si has 183K, no problems but is automatic, so i think it would be hard to sell privately. they are giving me like $6000 before taxes (so like $6900....good price i think).

that would make the TSX like $36,000 out the door....good deal?

Got the car end of september. $36 500 including spoiler ($651) and foglights ($691) and tints ($300). The salesman also gave me a good price for my trade in (ie. the best of all the dealerships). I had to bargain until 30 minutes past the dealerships closing time (9:00 pm). So try to go a little lower on the price cause it seems I got it for a better price.
Happy bargaining...

for previous message. The 36 500 does not include the tax nor the trade in.

I got my TSX in July 03 at Acura in Markham, traded my old 95 Corolla DX with 130km on it and paid $35500 OTR with no option.

The dealer wanted to give me $9500 for my 2000 Accord coupe, which worked out to about $11,500 for a private sale because you save tax on the trade-in. I did a private sale and I got $14,500 for my car a week and a half after posting the add. Needless to say I'm really glad I didn't do the trade-in.

For the TSX, I was buying the OEM kit, trunk tray and floor mats, wheel nuts, and I got a $2500 discount. Add to that freight/PDI and taxes.
