On my 04 AT non-navi w/ 31k+ miles, I got $19.5k, but that was nearly 2 months ago so the pricing will probably have dropped a little by now. Private sale, expect to be able to command a couple grand more over trade-in value, if stock. Use kbb.com to help you determine how best to price your car.
As for your new car, if you were financing it and paying $368, expect to put a shit load more down to keep your monthly payment at that. Tell me how much you want to put down, how long you're willing to spread the term over, and what you want to target in terms of monthly payments and I can run the numbers for you.
Also, expect a target price for that BMW to be about $38k msrp and, if you get lucky, you might be able to talk them down to around $35k-$36k.
Sorry to see you go, but you gotta do what's right for ya. Don't be a stranger and make sure you come back to visit so we can make fun of your DBZ hair and popped color.

I would rather trade in, for lack of hassel, and just part out most of the goods, and make close to the difference.
What do u think?
I feel like it would be a hassle selling my car as is right now. Do people actually purchase cars equipped like mine, and like the many others on these boards?

hey anal eel, this is what i did to get my car 400USD over invoice.
anytime they talked about how great a feature was, i refuted by saying how much i dont need it and how much it would cost me to fix.
let me show you some examples i actually used
tsx has power window.
me - well, when the motor breaks, it's going to be expensive and hard to fix. and why are all the windows not auto up/down?
tsx has leather
me - it's hot in florida - the leather is going to crack
tsx has a 6mt 200 hp 2.4
me - i'm not buying a tsx to make a it a road racer. the fact that it has a big motor means it's going to cost me more in gas
i went in on the last day of the month.
i constantly told them i didn't need to buy a car, even tho, in my mind, i kept telling myself that i really want it haha
so negotiations lasted a good 5 minutes
here's the sequence
1. dealer says sticker, i think it was 26,900 at the time
2. i laugh
3. i say, ok, i'm going to make one offer, if you guys dont accept, then dont waste your time calling me, b/c i'm not going to buy this car from this dealership ever, heck, i dont even need a car
4. i offer 24,500, which was invoice at the time
5. managers pretend to consult with one another
6. sales guy comes back - the manager says he can do 24,900
7. i buy a tsx
never show them how much you want it.

And yes, people would purchase a car modded like yours.

You must desperately want the BMW. No offense but it doesn't look like you can afford it.

Wow i missed alot of posts in these threads, the reason for selling the ps2, is for the ps3 in the near future, and the clothes, has nothing to do with my funds, but would rather not get into where that money is going. (not a car)
I was going to buy the car myself (no parents), just making that clear. Hence, i coudlent find the price i wanted, thus why i am still holding onto the TSX.
If it was my parents money, i would have already sold my car.
Just clearing that up.

You can't make that assumption for everyone
