Family resemblence
I don't know if this has been discussed before or not, but i found this yesterday while killing time. Just thought I'd share:
Ok. This is a Honda:
And this is a Holden:
Now I'll shuffle the pics, and you'll guess which one is Honda. K?
------------------------
Don't flame me. Just be objective, and tell me if you see any similarities?

I see similarities. The TSX/Accord design goes back several years ago. Honda sits around and broods over things for years and then releases things. The NSX being the epitome of this, design work began in 1983!!
You should add the Mazda 6 to your list, it has that "look" as well.

Those are nice looking cars!
Holdens have long-resembled other makes of cars. (It's a General Motors brand in Oz and the South Pacific. They have produced Holdens relabeled as Buicks for the Chinese market and Holdens relabeled as Chevrolets for the Middle East and South American markets, BTW. Soon, we'll see the Holden-produced Pontiac GTO.)
With the exception of Isuzu-sourced Holden SUVs, most Holden cars of which I am aware are based on Opel-Vauxhall models or platforms. Some are assembled in Oz, and others are built in Europe at Opel or Vauxhall plants.

Ouch! I hope I forget that before I look at another Odyssey! Don't let the BMW crew read that one.

Similarities between Holden and Honda cars don't stop with the front either. Notice the rear of these cars:
Amazing eh.

The rear ends are very generic, with those diagonal rear light clusters. Everything from Mercedes to Hyundais have (or have had) similar rear ends.
Another car the looks...ahem...related in overall style is the 4-door Ford Focus sedan. The side profile looks similar to the TSX/Euro Accord with small windows, large side slab panels, short rear deck lid (trunk or boot). (I'm at work and cannot point to specific pictures right now.) The overall wedge shapes of both cars are unmistakable.
In the past 10-15 years, car styling has been looking very generic indeed!
