dyno?

dyno?

I own a brand new euro accord type-s, itīs got about 750km on the clock, and I was wondering is it to soon to dyno it, must I finish driving x amount of km before itīs safe to put it on a dyno?

You might want to wait until you've had a couple of oil changes. Your numbers might be a little low if you did it now.

In terms of safety, I would wait until you reach your 1000 km break-in period before putting the car on a dyno.

If you are anxious to see the before and after dyno numbers of a mod you plan on putting on soon, you could probably even do it before the oil change if you want.

If you're interested in getting the highest peaks numbers possible it would probably be better to wait until you have more miles though. The big reason I say to wait is that based on dynos I have seen from Hondata, the engine starts making more power as more miles are put on it.
