Cool Drivers window auto up ... and back down?

There is only one thing I found I dont like about my car. When you use the auto up feature on the drivers window it goes up and then back down a few inches. I honestly hate it and it defeats the purpose of the "auto up" since i have to hold the window button the whole time.
Someone please tell me there is a way to turn off this feature or disable or something?!?!?!

...are you sure you're not flipping the key back to the unlock position to unlock your door after rolling up your windows with the key because that will sure do it.

To prevent this from happening, take your key out of the hole after rolling your windows up and unlock your door using the key fob.

That's the pinch protection kicking in. Stick your hand in there or try to force the window down when closing it using the auto-up feature and it will do the exact same thing. Perhaps your window is a little misaligned.

yeah, maybe it is misaligned or something. Everytime i try to put up the window usinng the one touch finger it will go up and then back down a few inches. I have to hold it up the whole time. I figured it was some bonus but obviously not. Guess now i have to go get it check out at an acura dealer . . . or does honda honor the acura warranty too??

I had this problem, they realigned the window and lubricated the track. Came back a few weeks later. Complained again and they replaced the regulator. So far so good, although its only been about a month. All of this was covered under warranty.

no kidding, well hopefully that's the problem then. Do you guys think i could take my car to a honda dealer and have them do warranty work or does it have to be strictly acura?

you need to go see an acura dealer to do the warranty work on your acura.
