doors hollow?

I just noticed that when i close the door on my tsx, it sounds kinda hollow. When i close my friends CL or A4 they both sound solid. Is this just me or has anyone else notice this?

You probably aren't experiencing the thud that I personally noticed because you may have your windows down? So try rolling up your windows and give it a slam.

Only "fix" is to install some sound/noise deadening material in all 4 doors.

it already is sound deadening. The doors are extremely quiet when closing them. Don't know what the problem is here.

A matter of sound engineering.

Too much or too little air exits the tsx when you close the door.

My buddy has an 06 A4 and the door slam sounds the same with the windows closed. Try slamming the door in the TL - that's hollow.

I, as well, dislike the sound of the TSX doors when they close, especially the rear doors. I realize it purely asethic/audible but would a couple strips of dynamat fix it?
