Of course that I hate it!

Or when they enter with their shoes full of mud or snow...

I usually avoid as much as possible to give a ride to people that I'm not 100% sure if they take care of their action or if they give no $hit about other people's stuff.

My friends know better. They've been chewed out enough

Now, what I hate is when your parents send you out to pick up your brother at a friend's house, but fail to mention that this house is located in the country and requires one to drive for 5 miles on unpaved roads to get there. I drove 5 mph the entire way.

dont feel bad, i make everyone sit on towells if its been raining out or theyre comming back from some sort of practice or trip to the beach.

most of my friends learn, some bring thier own towells when they get wet. the doors annoy me the most, specially when they open the door with thier feet. that pisses me off.

yeah not only do i hate the slamming the door part... but the biggest thing i hate is the opening the door with there feet. i have the light tan interior and it just leaves foot prints all over the speakers or the side door panel....its horrible!

You let people ride in your car???

It's nice to know I'm not alone when it comes to getting PO'd when people switch their brains off and FU my car. I've gotten to the point where I tell them that when they slam a door or truck that they might as well dig into their pocket and pay me for a new speaker. And yes, depending of the person, I'll tell them in mid-slam before they dis my car. If you want to ride with me you respect the ride.

Tough love...

Spoken like a true door slamer. I can only imagine what condition you ride is in. Use it but don't abuse it and you can "chill-out" when it comes to dropping big $$$'s on fixing what you broke.

It's a matter of education. New cars these days do NOT require doors to be slammed to shut properly. Perhaps people have older cars that require slamming to lock. All you have to do is say "look, my car doors will shut fine without you slamming it, thank you."

you're right but you missed the point - i dont intend to own the car into retirement - will pass it on to be someone's 'beater" & get something else in a couple years.
Just trying to say life is too short to fuss over trivial little shit over a car (it aint loving you back)

Hedonism versus Zen – One side is keeping score; the other is one with the score. You assume that I’m “sweating” the small stuff, etc. Aside from your gratuitous presumption all I am saying is “take care of your shit and it’ll take care of you.” Now on to more important things – It’s beer and pizza time.

-Enjoy your Sunday

Trunk too. I noticed a lot of people seem to slam it, I think it's because the doors are so light (the car is very light!) compaired to most SUVS and other upscale sedans. You ever closed a door on a 3 series? Those things weigh a ton!

I hate the door slammin as well!! As far as beach sand and dirt, I picked up a set of the all weather TSX floor mats. A local TSX owner traded up to a TL and sold me the set for $50........... But kicking the door open is the worse I treated everything plastic or rubber in the car with 303. That stuff is awesome!!

This justifies another use for the wonderful invention called the MagLite. Clock them over the head. Our doors close not only easily but also in a solid manner.

seems like "Hedonism" + self-centeredness.

You assumed I was talking about YOU specifically. No, dont care what you're sweating, dont care if you climb thru the window to get in....

“take care of your shit and it’ll take care of you.” ?
