Does your TSX get attention/stares/double takes?

My friend just asked me today while riding in the TSX. Do I get attention from the ladies while driving the TSX? I was like sure it's the TSX, j/k. I told him though not sure cause I'm dating a girl currently so it doesn't matter. But, a guy did ask me while I was filling up the TSX at a gas station where I got my Acura logo chrome license from.

Since I have the TL rims on the car, everyone thinks I drive a TL. Curious what thier reaction will be to TL A-Spec rims. I assume they will think aftermarket rims on an Acura. Then they would distinguish it more as a TSX than a TL again.

I only look if there is enough space between the other cars so they won't ding my car.

I don't think I get much in the way of looks, but I got flashed with high beams 3 times in one evening! I thought, "Haven't these jokers seen HID lights before?" Then I realized that since I was carrying a lot of stuff, the rear end was weighed down more than the front, and it probably was shining up more than it normally would. WELL, it's not like I'm going to readjust the lights just for that!

Here in Cincinnati, mostly 40+ aged woman drive these. I got some stares back in 2003 when it was VERY rare to see, but now, I have no idea if anyone stares at it.

Two girls, one I talk to from CA and one who lives near me, both think the car is incredibly sexy...

Oh, and some guy at work (well, he was a customer having stuff installed in his 96' TL,) said the car is pimpin and looked awesome

Yep, the car is that good!

I see dudes breaking their necks all the time (I obviously act like I don't notice it, but I do). Its even better when the driver sticks their entire head out the window as they drive by to check out my car (its happened 2-3 times).

Since you don't see too many modified TSXs up in my state, people wonder what kind of car it is. A couple of dude's stopped next to my car and asked me what kind of car it was and said some kind words about the look

Overall, I think people like the look

Two kids came up to me while I was in a car wash bay and started asking me all these questions about my car. Another time, I walk out of a Target to see some car circling around my car. As I walk towards it, I'm kind of giving the person a dirty look and he decideds to roll down his window and ask me what kind of Acura my car is (since it's debadged). Then there's the occassional neck-breaking by passing cars, but those two time stick out in my mind the most.

I catch people all the time lookin. Not just ladies, everyone looks. But when I got my rims put on I got a phone # before I left the parking lot and that same night I had 2 girls jockin hard in a Safeway parking lot. I even find myself looking at my car more than I should. It is a problem I think.

Oh I forgot to mention this other time. I was at a gas station filling up. This dude in a CBR rolls up next to my car and keeps staring at my car (he's literally about 2 feet from my car checking everything out while I'm 5 feet away filling her up). I'm thinking to myself, what the eff is he doing and then he suddenly says, "Nice ride man". His boy finished filling up his bike and they both stare once more and then head out. Gotta love that stuff, LOL

I do get stares quite a bit. Several weeks ago when I was at a gas station, a guy in an STI pulled out his camera and started taking picture of my car. I didn't even know about it (because I wasn't facing them) till I got back into the car, and my wife told me about it.

I remember one time I was next to a Civic. When I was coming up on him, I could see that he was the type of driver with the seat tilted so far back, he was like laying down on the seat. When I pulled up next to him, he literally sat up and turned his head checking my car out from front to back. The way his look was like something really shocking just happened. It was just priceless to see the expression on his face.

yea i get attention in my car.

i even got a compliment from an older guy who was driving a corvette.

ALOT of tl owners glance over at me - a couple of tl guys have talked to me at gas stations.

ironically, i haven't seen any tsx's in the orlando area as of late.

there are rare over here.

yesterday i was leaving the grocery store. i was backing out of my parking space. i had my windows rolled down, i look to my left, and i see a middle aged man that just popped out of nowhere, and he says to me "i like you car!"

so i just say "uh thanks" and drove off. freaked me out because he just came from nowhere.

i should've put a poll on this oh well.
i like my TSX still however i don't know how biast I am towards the G35 coupe, but that car would get a lot more looks than our car right?
if only i had a lot more money to keep the TSX and buy a G35C.

My car got hit. so i had a renta-neon for a little while. I noticed no one notices that car at all.. then I got the TSX back and yes girls look at you in that car.

The TSX is still pretty rare here and mine is debadged. I think it looks like it costs a lot more that I paid for it, so people stare. I still get compliments. I had an hour convo with some guy in a gas station about the car. He drove a Jaguar Vanden Plas.

Today at a stop light of a big intersection 4 peopel were caught staring at my car... maybe some glare ? but they all got honks after they veered into the wrong lane.

Our car is just that nice of a car to get curious heads whipping at it.

Yea a lot of people pay attention to my TSX in my area especially the ladies. A lot of girls also drive it around here and since i have the blue dome lgihts, blue underglow, and blue glow in all the footwells usually girls pull up and ask where i got it and stuff. The older people at the gas station usually ask how much i got it and this one guy always trys trading me his POS gas station for my car. Everytime i pull up he tries to give me some new deal, but keep in mind im going to college, where am i going to find time to manage a gas station?

Wtf? No one has ever looked twice at my car—especially not any ladies. They probably think that it's a Civic.

I think I posted this real story before:

Last year, my wife drove me on her TSX to a BMW dealer in order to pick up my car. We drove in to the drive thru area then I went to talk to the SA. During we waiting the valet to drive my car up, the SA asked some of his co-workers to check out our TSX. 1 of the saleman said "Now, this is the true competitor that 3-series need to face, we need to get E90 asap to fight back." Then after the valet drove my car up to the drive thru area that just behind our TSX, another SA talked to me that "You really have taste on cars and mods." I drove away with a big grin even the damn engine light was on again after 5 min away from the dealer parking lot.....

Another real story that happened last month.
I parked my bimmer a coupe spot beside my wife's TSX on a parking lot of a resturant. I was on the phone inside my car and my wife already brought our kids inside the resturant. A bunch of teens walked by and then said "Looks, this car is hot, see it even get custom wheels on! man I love it", then another guys said "No wonder, it is a TSX!"

I get a few looks but not alot. Mostly from people interested in fixed up cars. I haven't seen too many people with a fixed up TSX in my area, but of course I don't go to car shows or anything like that.

TSXs r really rare in jersey city, i only saw like 2 since i got mine
i get lots of "damn, wut is that car" looks
i also get lots of punks in civics and neons trying to race me

a friend of mine (whos got a 2005 Mercedes E350) loves the interior of my car

IMO, the TSX would be the perfect car if it had more power

While I was in LA and staying in a friend's gated community, I came out to clean off my car and this guy had parked in front of my car blocking it, I told the guy not to worry since I'm not leaving anyways. He starts asking me all these questions about that car and wanted to test drive it! Of course I just smiled and didn't respond.

A couple of months ago, I went to a local Toyota dealership to pick up some touch up paint for my parents car and you should have seen all the salesman looking out through the window to check out the TSX. We talked about the car and when I came out, I saw a couple checking out my car. They came to buy a Toyota and left for an Acura.

Rare to see a fixed up TSX here in Hawaii. Maybe a few here and there with a drop, and a-spec underbody...feel so honored to be one of the few. Ive gotten compliments from a BMW Salesman, Evo & St-i owners, and TL'ers. When I debadged my car this dude with a slammed A4 was tailing me one day.. I thought something was up when he came real close, i brake checked him and he swerved to my driver side ..I thought he was gonna punk me out but he was like... " damn, thats one nice Acura!, what is it??? " LOL Oh yea, can't forget the ones who turn their heads and stare when I drive by or while im pumpin gas... hahha
