Question Does your TSX eject a lot of heat?

Try standing next to the car with the warm engine running.
It seems a lot warmer than most cars with bigger engines...
Anyone noticed this?

Yes, I have noticed that, and I'll love it this winter.

My engine fan is constantly coming on and then shutting off when I have the Climate Control going (especially when I have the temp turned up). Anybody else getting this?

Its really hot under the hood...and it stays hot FOREVER. I can come back to my car 3 hours later and the engine is still quite warm.

i'll second this. the car does stay hot for a very long time. as for the interior, it stays cool, very cool. probably cause i have a white car with a parchment interior. the sun bounces off my car like nothing

I agree with all of you, it is VERY hot. and the interior does get hot without the AC on...i can feel the head radiating from the dash, literally.

Naptown reporting....

I thought the same thing today. I parked it in the garage and came back out three hours later to take off the front plate holder (no holes on the front fascia!!!!) and the engine was still quite hot. Actually, more like the hood and front fenders, but I opened up the hood anyway and the hood prop was incredibly hot. Don't know why that is...our other cars aren't like that. My Impreza seems to cool down fairly quickly.

As far as interior goes, I find it to keep quite cool. I thought the Ebony interior might soak up heat faster, but not so.

A little off topic here..
But you do know that cops will give you crap for not having front lic plate in IL right?

If you don't think your engine gets unusually hot.....Just eject a CD that has been loaded for a while after driving the car and you tell me if that thing isn't a little warmer than most!

I always have to drive with climate control on, even at night (55-65 F outside). If I just have the fans on, they blow warm air on me!

Bought my car in Illinois, but I live in Indy. Thanks for the warning though.

Naptown out.

That's cool. I hate to give them an added reason to pull someone over.

I feel the same... even when you switch the controls to have fresh 70F air coming in, the outside air channels through the engine compartment and feels like 80F air blowing at you.
This should work well in the winter but during warmer weather, it's difficult not to switch on the A/C to better regulate the inside temp.
