I just installed my shonda3 aux audio hook up and coudn't find anywhere to mount it so I taped it on ttop of the ecu. Am I in danger of damaging it? Does the ecu get hot?

Are you talking about the OEM amp that is behind the storage bin?

I would be careful about putting thinks close to that area, because there a good chance you will get some ground noise. Turn on the ignition and test for that before you put everything back together.

Another option is to just zip tie the SNHOND3 to one of the cables up a little higher in that area. I think there are some good pics of SNHOND3 installs in the FAQ/DIY section.
