Does the Dome light have an auto off feature?

If you left your dome light on manually, will it turn off if you leave it on accidentally?

I'd go out in my garage and check for you but..... it's 5 degrees outside here in the New York City suburbs, and my garage is colder than the inside of my refrigerator!
At least that will keep our new TSX nice and fresh. ;o)

no...if you leave it on manually, it'll stay on. I left it on by accident in my garage once... good thing my dad saw it when he got home...

I left it on overnight before and my car started fine the next day, luckily. Only on a new car I guess.

Yes, when your battery runs down.

Seriously though, I think it would take a long time for that to happen. I'm pretty sure that that light will stay on if you turn it on manually. I don't think there is an auto-off for it. The headlights are a different story, I'm pretty sure the owners manual makes some mention of an auto off for them if you leave em on.

Correct, if you leave your headlights on they shut off after about 30 seconds, and come back on when you open the driver door or unlock the car with the keyfob.

And no, you cannot customize the timeout duration.
