Do you find the TSX uncomfortable?
I'm not sure if it's me or my seat position... but I find the TSX to be the most uncomfortable car I've ever driven. I have about an hour drive and by the time I get home my neck is killing me? Anyone else? If it's just me I need to start playing with my sitting position.

After long drives I feel pain in my back, neck, and knee. But this is mostly because I am 6'3 and the TSX is a little cramped for me. But it doesnt seem any more uncomfortable than any other car of similar size.

My first week of owning my TSX I though I made a mistake. No matter what I did the seat didn't feel right. Finally I got it perfect. The main problem for me was the lumbar and the bottom part of the seat.
I let my sister drive it last weekend and now it's all jacked up again. I miss memory seats!
Good luck Crazy

I find it very comfortable. The head support sucks, but I don't use it in the driver's seat of any car. It sucks for the passenger side though.

Last night I took a friend out for a drive in my TSX, and he remarked how particularly comfortable the passenger seat is. He was in the seat for about 40-45 minutes.
I haven't found the driver's seat to be uncomfortable. I must admit that I haven't mastered all of the power seat adjustments.

I thought the back was uncomfortable but I just put the lumbar support all the way to the back and it's much better now. It would also be nice if the wheel could telescope a little more so I could have less flex in my legs.

Here's something that might make anyone forget all about their complaints about the passenger seat.
My wife dislikes the passenger seat so much that we were seriously planning on getting an aftermarket replacement, maybe even trying to install a TL seat (which she loves). But we solved the problem for about 60 bucks.
Ever seen those vibrating/massaging seat covers? We stumbled across one at a Bed Bath & Beyond store, while looking for totally other stuff. They had one out for demo. I tried it, she tried it, we both thought it was incredible. It's not meant mainly for cars (I don't think), but I immediately realized it would probably fit great on the TSX passenger seat, and it does. Made her forget all about the problems of the seat.
The brand name is HoMedics. There are two versions, "5-motor" (which is what we got), or for an extra 10 or 20 bucks, "10-motor." We got the 5-motor, not because it was cheaper but because it was what they had out for demo. The 10-motor is probably even better, but because the 5 is what we tried and we knew we liked it, that's what we got. They wouldn't open up a 10-motor for us to try. The store does have a no-hassle 30-day refund policy, and they're great about it, but still, I hate returning things and we figured we'd go with the sure thing. I refer to it as the "5-speed," and joke about whether we want to upgrade to the "10-speed."
Actually, most of the time during the winter we take it off because it keeps you from really feeling the seat heater. But it was a great find. I bet most other people would love it too.

I find the TSX to be extremely comfortable. I am 5'10 - 5'11. I do feel that the seat needs better head support. I find myself using a neck pillow when I am am driving for more then 2-3 hours.
I think the TSX becomes uncomfortable if you are over 6'1 or you are to wide for the seat.

I'll leave the easy (but fun) replies out there for others on Larch's last one. :P
I am 6'2" and have had no problems with the seats. It does take some fiddling, but once I found THAT position, it was fine. The lumbar thing definitely helps. Mine is about 3/4 of the way "out". I find the seatback hugs me just right. No complaints here.

I think I registered us for one of those homedics massagers when my woman wasn't looking... I thought I was doing it for me - maybe that was a mistake!

On-topic: I am 5'1" and the biggest problem to me is that my knees hit the steering wheel column. I need to pull my seat up on order to be able to reach the full extension of the clutch pedal. The seats are fine for us smaller folk.

Plenty comfortable.
In fact, my back (often tight and sore) has felt great in the last few months. I'm starting to wonder if the TSX's seat has something to do with it. The timing sure seems right.

Larch's old thread on seats:
http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...ighlight=seats
I drove the Acura up to and back from Boston last week, about 10 hours. On return I switched to my Volvo wagon to drive over to Home Depot - and Volvo arguably has the best seats around, I was shocked that I found the Volvo uncomfortable! Not that it really is, I hadn't noticed that the seats were uncomfortable at any time before during the last 130,000 miles, it's just that it's seats are different from the Acura's seats. I'd suggest trying to adjust the Acura's seats. The "headrest" isn't really a head rest, it's a head restraint and your head isn't supposed to touch it unless you're rear-ended. My wife had a problem with this on my Volvo and it was solved with a lumbar support pillow - about $20 from an office supply store - which moved her far enough forward in the seat to clear the head restraint.

you might try reclining the seat a little more and pull the wheel closer to you so your upper body can lay flat against the seatback. you may also want to slide the seat a tad forward to further allow you to sit flat against the seat.

The seats are perfect, a much better fit for me than those in my CL, and comparable to my Miata for comfort.

Can't wait to drive
I think they are great. good side supports. I think they lumbar supports are overkill though, I only have them "1/4" out. I recline a bit because my arms are long. but my arms are still bent at the elbows when driving. I can tell they are comfortable because when I get to work, the seat here is totally uncomfortable compared to my car seat
