Do i need a whole new HID kit for a 2004 TSX ?

I'm planning on changing my headlights to 6000k instead of the stock HID's. Do i need to change out the whole HID kit? or just replace the bulbs ? Also if it just needs bulbs any ideas on a good website where i can buy 6000k bulbs ?

You just need bulbs.

You just need bulbs and I'd highly recommend the KAIXEN bulbs:

Off topic somewhat, but is it possible to just replace the housing or outside unit of the headlights? Mine is cracked but the lights still work fine. But i don't want to have to replace the entire unit.

yes you can .. but its a huge hassle. The clear front can be removed from the housing. you'll have to re seal and bake the headlight so theres no leak. might be just cheaper to pick up a oem housing form ebay.

i forget, our stock temp is 4300K?

I'm a little confused. Is the outside clear casing readily available for purchase at most places? Meaning is it common or uncommon. I understand why it would need sealing, but what is the baking about? And what part needs to be baked (or is it the entire unit)?

How much more is it to just buy an entire new unit or pair?
