Do All Makes/Models Have Rattle Issues?
Obviously, rattles/creaks are an issue with the TSX although the extent of which is up for debate. I for one have a creak in the center console and it just burns me up. But my question is this: Do all cars have rattles? I mean, could you imagine buying a Ferrari or Porsche and it rattles? Does this occur?? I would be furious about spending over $100K on a car and having to take it back due to rattles. Just having the TSX rattle makes me fume...

Ferraris and Porsches rattle like a tin can. I would say that no car is devoid of rattles but some are more prone than others. I've driven 7 series bimmers and S-Class mercs and they too have rattles in various places.

Great point! In fact, I remember them so well it was one of the reasons I didnt buy the TSX sooner. I remember putting my little brother in the hatch trying to find the rattles....they never got fixed. I just hope my creaking in the console does get fixed. To me its embarassing and annoying. I saw a Bentley on on the road the other day and wondered if that rattled....

My TT convertible had rattles all over the place. That car has caused me to swear off Audi/VW forever.
My A4 also had some rattles, mostly from the cargo area. Wagons always seem to rattle a bit more than others.

I haven't had any creaks or rattles from the car unless I'm playing the radio loud. Then I get a vibration in the passenger door that is loud as hell...I wonder if putting some sound insulating material in the door would solve that. Anyway, it pisses me off.

Every car I've owned or been in had some sort of rattle or noise. If not when new then it was down the line. You can't buy a car and expect it to be perfect. There's no such thing.

My TSX definitely has more rattles than my '89 Accord did. I had the Accord 10 years before it acquired its first (and only) rattle. Even then, it would come and go (worse in the cold). The TSX rattles are not as loud and so relatively easy to ignore, but I'm a bit disappointed. My dealer has fixed two rattles so far (sunroof/headliner and grab bars) and there's one more (pass. side door pillar I think) I'm going to have looked at. I'm sure the car will be ultra-reliable and run forever, but I expect that from any Honda. When you move up-market a bit, the little things start to count for more.
I think the most rattle-prone vehicles I've ever encountered are Chrysler minivans. I have never owned one, but I've ridden in several and even the relatively new ones had loud rattles and creaks out the wazoo. My guess is most people can't hear them over the kids in the back.

I have a 2004 G35 Coupe and I have rattles in both doors, the rear deck, and creaking in my dashboard. My brother has an IS300 he got when it first came out, almost 60k miles and no rattles. My fiance drives a 2004 Chrysler pacifica with 10k miles with no rattles or creaks but it's been in the shop for a CEL issue which was fixed by the dealer under warranty.
I'm looking at a 6MT TSX as my needs have changed and looking for a car with 4 doors and the TSX is at the top of my list. I'd almost be happy if it has half the rattles I have now with my G35.

Mine had a few come and go, pretty much right from the beginning. I had something aroudn my door lock, but it seems to have gone away. I had one in my door speaker, but that seems gone too (or I just don't listen to that kind of music any more). The two that ended up staying were my sunroof creak and something from my steering wheel. I finally took it in after almost a year now and they lubricated my sunroof and are ordering me a new airbag. I think there's still occasionally something at the top of my windshield.
Anyway, it's not really that bad. But my friend's 5 month old Mazda3 still sounds perfectly quiet..

Bringing mine in Monday. The sunroof headliner is the worst.
