Foolish Pleasure

Picked up my first ding yesterday...actually I dropped the damn garbage can lid on the side of the car (dont ask how) and now I have a ding about an inch behind the gas cap. Anyone have a good place to take it near Middletown, NJ? I have read several threads about this in terms of do it yourself kits...any suggestions on which is best? I cant find anything under paintless repair in my area....

Most Acura dealers have a specialist that does paintless repairs. I had a 1" ding removed from my rear door and the dealer did it while I had the oil changed. It cost $100 but the door looks perfect now! You would probably have to make an appointment. The do-it-yourself ding repairs don't always turn out like you would hope!

I feel your pain dude. I've had mine a week now and just noticed a nasty rock chip on my hood (not to mention the horrid holes my drums punched into the rear door interior panel). Doh!

I used a company called Dent Wizard they will come to your home, job or anywhere you want them too. I used them to take out dents on my TL & Gsr I had.

Do you recommend Dent Wizard? There is an auto body shop that uses them and evidently they are supposed to be good based on what the guy said there...although I am sure that is not the most objective source.

I am also located in Middletown and I have always had my body work done either at T&J in Red Bank by the Wawa or Sanford's in Red Bank which is right behind the Red Bank Liqours off of Front Street. If they can't fix it, just ask them who can, they are both very good shops and I am sure they wouldn't steer you wrong.

Ultimate Collision in Edison does a superb job. Had some dents fixed a few months back when some idiot smacked his front end into my doors. It looks better than new...and the service is great, with friendly personnel to boot.
