Hey guys, just transfering the discussion over from the sway bar thread. So what is everyone thinking on this. What date is better, the 16th or 23rd. Also, i wasnt at the last install meet, but i did host one back in the spring. I cant really host anymore as i changed apt's, so what is everyone thinking on location as well? Post your thoughts here.

Oh yeah i forgot that NFL is back on so Sunday doesnt work for me . Really any saturday is good. Also as far as who is knowledgeable about these installs, I really dont know much, I tried to install my short shifter but I couldnt get that damn little greased up ball off. Also I really do not have a place where we can meet also. Another thing is tools, I am very limited in what I have (I know I am not much of a help) so we should figure that stuff out too

 

Bump this up. I propose Saturday the 23rd. Seems like there isn't much interest in doing it sooner.

Also, I suggest the Vienna Metro garage once again, as it was quiet and enclosed when we were there last time, and no security patrol or anyone to bug you on the weekend.

 

hey if you do it saturday september 16th we can do you header and cat at my place but you all have to drive 2 hours for that.

23rd sounds fine to me. you guys are welcome to have the meet in front of my parents house in Vienna, we held the original ones there.

 

OK, I think xixor's idea is better, if he has a private place we can meet up and he'll be there.

Now the meet will be the 23rd, at xixor's folk's place. Meet at Noon. I'm sure he'll provide directions to the people who are coming. In the event of rain, we'll move the location to be the metro garage, since its enclosed.

CCColts, I'm gonna just tackle that on my own, pre-install meet. I will bring something to install though, or more accurately, swap out.

I'm coming. Will be swapping my headlight projectors while I'm there. Also will be giving test drives in what is hopefully a faster car by then.

I can bring sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers. I do not have a good jack / jack stands.

Wow. Looks like a seperate install meet I had been planning has fallen through, so I may be bringing lots of parts, lookout!

I think the 1 big thing I want to do at the meet now would be to install the UR SS pullies. I definitly need a hand so get ready to help me apply 1000+ ft/lbs to that crank pulley bolt!

May also be brining the header and cat if I don't install those this weekend.

I am going to do the Tein SS coilovers so are there any of you guys going to bring/have a good jack and a jack stand to the install meet and does any of you have the spring compressor.

Hey, I'd take it. Since I'm putting on an RT Cat I can actually use it.

Eur, the type-2 won't fit with a stock cat. On the other hand, I have Fury's type-1, which I'd gladly sell you for what I paid him for it if I'm getting Dillon's.
