Just got some info from the website...

-grills are not provided in the picnic areas, we have to bring our own.

- if we want to reserve a picnic area, we should call it in. From reading the website they state that Picnic Area E is open to all visitor's(free) but it's on a first come first serve basis. Picnic Area C-1 through C-3 can accomodate 100 people in each section so if we do reserve a spot C-1 through C-3 should hold us(depending on the turnout)

- if we do reserve an area we are allowed to serve alcohol in our reserved area.

I will call them tomorrow to see if section C-1 , C-2, or C-3 are already booked....

Thanks

And yeah, no grills, otherwise we could have a nice bbq.

Oh, and for those that are interested, we can meet at one location in Rosslyn and cruise down to the location together, traveling right through Old Town Alexandria.

Consider yourself signed up. And I'm working on the Hondata reflash, except I need one other interested party. Are you interested?

Yup...especially when the person who originally requested the meet hasn't even signed up.

Where is everyone?

Hmm...I think I'm going to open this up to the RL group. I'm trying to keep this simple for now, but if attendance still doesn't pick up by the end of next week, then I'll open it up to all AZ members.

And if someone wants to bring a frisbee or a football, we can include some physical activity too.

Plus, like I mentioned, we'll be close to the Mt. Vernon bike trail so I may bring my riding gear and go riding after the meet.

That's more like it, people. And if we get to 10 people, we can reserve one of the picnic areas and serve beer and wine.

Oh, and I want to make this clear that friends and family welcome, of course.

Should be about 8 cars, but about 10 or 12 people, maybe more. We want to keep this fairly small.

Okay, here's a challenge for you guys: I've looked at the demographics, so far as I can assess on this webpage, and I know that everyone who has signed up for this event is between the ages of 19 and 25. I'm not. I'm a lot older. Of course, however, I'm over that middle aged thing too, and I bought my TSX for many of the same reasons as those of you who write onto Acurazine. My 2005 TSX's only body kit is the 3-M Clearbra. So, what would an old fart like me do at this event? Maybe see how others in the area have up-graded? Maybe getting some tips on TSX maintenance and TLC? Hoping no one offers me a wheelchair? Sounds interesting, but do you think I'd belong?

age is nothing but a number, the only upgrades i've done to my car are tint the windows and replace the factory air filter with a k&n unit .

stop by enjoy some food/drinks, chit-chat about known problems and fixes, maintenance, and check out what others have done to make their tsx unique.

Sure the ones who have signed up so far are a bit younger than you, but we're all part of the larger Acura family. Just come out and have a couple of good conversations with some good people. I've met a couple of these guys before and the others I've talked to over PM and they seem like a great bunch of guys. I think you'll fit right in.

And if you have a family, feel free to bring them too. This is a park after all and it'll be a great place for your kids (if you have any) to run around.

I've been looking to catch one of these but they always seem to be scheduled so far south. We need a DC/MD/VA meet that is actually in MD. I'd like to come to this but its a bit of a haul.

There was one back in the fall of 2004 that was at Arundel Mills. That's the farthest north I've seen of the posted meets. You should come down. The drive form Columbia shouldn't be much more than an hour.

We are trying to keep this as much of a TSX meet as possible, but you're most certainly welcome to join us, mr.steve. Just don't advertise this meet to the AZ community at large because we are trying to keep this primarily a TSX meet.
