Damn license plate frame....

So i decided to look behind my front license frame...and what i end up finding...

2 huge paint "smudges". Its a scratch, but instead of a thin line, its like an area.

1 small dent, i think it chipped the clear a bit.

the scratches on one corner, the dent in the other.....arg...I think something bumped into my frame and scratched the bumper.. Completely unnoticible w/o looking behind the frame though.

I think im gonna get some touch up and remove teh plate to fix it.

I sugggest everyone that has teh frame in front go and put some rubber stripping on the edge...that stuff can ruin ur bumper.. egag...

Sounds like someone backed into your plate frame in a parallel parking situation. Sorry to hear about it. This is why I stopped running the front plate on my car...

I would say anyone using the front frame would have the possibility of it. I lines going around the entire back of the plate frame. Haven't removed it to see the full extent, but pulling mine back enough shows some damage. And damn CA for requiring front plates!

No you don't...I've only been ticketed once in more than 3 years of driving around without one on and it was only because I was parked in a public location.

I hope its buff-able. I'm goign in for oil change / tire rotation on monday, picking up some touch up paint. Applying that paint and getting to work on a complete buff out on tuesday. Even though its really not a biggy...still bothers me =P
