I tried to follow all the threads on here. I spliced the +ive wires of my LED strips into the Green and red wire on the harness you have to reach behind the fuse box to get. I plugged the -ive (ground) wire to the ground (black) wire of the cubby light.

With that setup my LED courtesy lights fade on when the interior lights fade out. They stay on when the interior is off.

I bought a fuse splice, but there is no way the fuse can go back in with the splice around one leg of the fuse.

Any ideas on what I did wrong?
