i'm pretty sure the TSX doesn't have anything in it that noone else has on any other car..

however, some of the things that are pretty cool are the blue ambient lighting, the navi, bluetooth, memory seats, and the MID that's full of cool and useful information...

One of, if not the, smoothest inline 4-cylinder engines ever produced.

The coolest thing about the TSX to me, is it's pure and simple design inside and out. Everything about the car is done so well, but yet so simple.

Marvelous gearbox and the little handle that lets you close the trunk without touching the paint

I think we've had a few of these threads before.

Open your trunk - inside right about 1/5 in from the right side is a little black handle/bar. You use it to "pull" down the truck lid.

So what do you think will be the first Mod????

You know some nimrod is going to say the German version is better even if it has a tendancy to deflat at the wrong time.

Shades of the movie "Airplane" are dancing around in my head.

This could get out of hand! OMG!! No pun intended, or is that bun. Stop the maddness!

I like the calendar on the Navi screen are the verbal reminders it gives you for appointments/events

I also like how the TSX is such a great overall package and you don’t see 30 copies a day while driving to work like with Honda/Toyota/Ford/GM.

The #1 thing that people comment about regarding my TSX are the turn signal indicators that in the side-view mirrors. Still, not that many vehicles have them besides the TSX: RL, various Mercedes, some full size Ford and GM trucks, and a few others (Subaru?).

Honda-Acura must not remove the side-view mirror turn signal indicators from their next gen 2009 TSX.

How long did it take you to discover that there's a "notch" inside the gas filler door to receive the little round stub on your gas cap so it won't hang down on the car body when it's removed for filling up the tank?

Don't feel too bad if you missed it. That one got me too.

Cool things? Hmmm, the Bluetooth integration is perhaps one of the most practical ideas I've seen in a car lately. Before I bought the car, I made fun of the Bluetooth integration--I prefer things simple and practical, and I saw that feature as useless fluff. Well now that I've gotten used to it, I can't imagine being without it... especially with a manual transmission.

The use of benign blue lighting on the console at night, the appearance of the instrument cluster, the windshield wipers, and the factory exhaust are all really cool. I think the car itself looks generally pretty cool, inside and out.

The way everything seems to fit when you jump in. You can get comfy. Your elbow n foot rests seem to be perfectly placed. The smile you get right before you get in it. I still cant believe i have a TSX. Im still on my honeymoon cuz its only been lik 2 months or something.

I only wish i got the navi. Cuz im always looking to find something to play with while im in miami traffic.

Don't feel bad. I must have stared at that little plastic nub, I don't how many times!!! I kept thinking, "Now wait a sec, these guys are engineering nuts and they wouldn't just leave me standing here holding my" you get the point. And I know they're not just trying to help me not lose my gas cap by "attaching" that plastic tie thing to it.

Then I decided to take a break from my consternation and remember the engineer's credo, "Sometimes simplest is best" and poof! It all became so clear and everything fit into place. Imagine my joy in solving what for me was an annoying conundrum. So did I smile in satisfaction in a mystery solved? Did I jump in delight of "man defeats the plastic thingy?"

No I did not. I must be truthful hear. No false bravado. No "had it all the way" chest pounding. I simply did what most all of us would do when finding such a simple solution to what by now I had described as "how could Honda be so stupid not to..."

No. I just quickly looked around to see if anyone had noticed my "dog staring at itself in the mirror" moment. That little lightning bolt of perspective telling me that the jokes on me and "was anyone laughing?"

I offer this little humbling tale so as to better illustrate a long ago learned life lesson. "Brain farts are best served cold."

AKA - Don't get your panties in a bunch. Ya gotta smile. I do. Every time I fill up my gas tank.

Hold map + menu + setup button altogether for about 3 sec

then go into GPS and hold menu down for about 5 sec

then you get to see your speed via GPS system
