Convertible

Service rep at local dealer said a TSX convertible is in the works. Current body seems to me to not have the potentil of producing a good looking rag top.

It could be just a rumor but I've heard it from some media outlets also. I hear there's a coupe coming to replace the RSX too.

(Yes its a weak PS job, don't ask)

I can't see the pic, but yes the RSX has been discontinued, and the TSX coupe is to replace it. I never ever heard about a TSX convertible, and I highly doubt it too. Think about it, remember when they said they were going to release the Turbo AWD TSX. We'll where did that rumor run off to?

well, take this for what ever its worth, but at our last "Acura Precision Team" party last year, on of the Honda reps stated that the new TSX will be sedan, coupe, and convertible.

and of course we all assume its gonna be turbo AWD

The RSX is gone and will no coupe will be offered until the new body style comes out from what I understand, it will be the TSX coupe. The convert. is suppose to be offered only in the coupe and will be a hard top not rag top (with costs this may change), none for the 4 door sedan. I am assuming this will be similar offering to complete more closely with the 3series coupes and converts, since BMW just released hard top converts finally for the 3 series. At this point Its all speculation, but all the acura dealers in my area have mentioned this as well. There are some nice ideas of possible coupe design that will be shared with the 2 door accord coupe, if you go to Hondas website and look at future vehicles (which is new, Honda has never had actual future vehicle designs up on their site to the best of my knowledge).

Should be interesting to find out more later this spring and summer. Until then though, lets pretend its going to be turbo and awd like n8dog said
