my comptech's are sitting in my living room right now. Ride quality is still good? Any bounciness? I know comptech usually designs to work with stock suspension. Did whoever install it tell you of any camber issues? Againd i'd assume no, but ya never know.

Ride Quality

Feels like stock ride! very little camber so the mechanic said its really not required for 1" unless your super picky about it, but i did notice the rear had a slight camber(little), the front looks fine..

Car handles much better, less body roll, less nose dive on brakes. Probably if your into big time handling the shocks would be a bonus.

Otherwise if your normal driving to work and stuff its fine! ^_^

You don't notice any difference in ride quality? If that's the case, I'm going to have to look into them.

comptech sport springs are known for their near stock ride quality.. the drops aren't nearly as aggresive as many kits as they are designed to keep the suspension within stock spec.

that being said there are better spring choices if you want to really alter your handling. Personally i wanted to keep good ride quality while lessening the wheel gap.

Looks awesome. Very happy to see the car looks lowered on only a one inch drop but still keeps its stock ride.

Any chance you can take more pics?

I'm the same - don't want to sacrifice ride quality. I was just wondering how close to a stock ride the Comptech springs would be.

Ride quailty is definitely something i want to keep. I was in my friend's lowered civic and I felt EVERY bump. that is not something I want, but I do want to close up the space in between a little bit. Where did you order your springs from? How much was the labor? Would you need to get new shruts in the future at all?

Say I'm a total bozo and could never install anything on my car more intensive than a luggage net by myself. Where would I go to get something like this installed, and how much would the installation cost? Would a dealer install non-OEM parts?

springs

order the springs www.comptechusa.com

labour was $100 CAD, 2hrs for my mechanic, he had to take out the rear seats to get into the rear shocks and springs.

Get it installed anywhere pretty much. The front has at least 2 finger gaps so its like half of what the OEM spring gap.
