Comparing TSX & TL sound system with Regular CD.
Anyone has any comment on the Sound Quality on 6 Disc Changer Sound System of TSX and TL with "Regular CD"?
I know TL's DVD-Audio is superior, but I don't have any DVD-A and most likely will listen to CD anyway.

When I test drove a TSX the system was better in some regards, however I'd recommend if you have a TL to purchase DVD-A. While I will say that not all DVD-A's are mixed well, the sound separation reminds me of my home theater system.
The CD's I play are alright, but listening to XM is better (as far as sound reproducation).

I'm in a position to comment on both systems. The TSX system rocks the windows and rear view mirror when cranked up. The TL system (surround sound or not - DVD-A, CD, DTS whatever) is more comfortable/smoother IMO. But let me tell you they both rock. I've got to get XM radio in the TSX cause the XM radio in the TL is awesome. (Just picked up a TL last Friday -I need to add it to my signature.)

Nice collection. I think most on this site would enjoy walking into that garage. I like the TL stereo much better. I agee with your comparison. It's not that the TSX isn't a good system. It's kind of like buying a suit off the rack at a dept. store or getting a custom suit for a little more money. They are both nice but the TL fit me a little better.
I love my TSX however I wish it had XM radio, Bluetooth and various other luxury features the TL offers over the TSX. The power is not a concern. It's the memory seats, One-touch moonroof, larger cabin (I'm 6'4"), etc... I also regret not getting the Navi system. If the money is right I will trade for a 2005 TL or RL this fall. My TSX won't even have 10,000 miles on it at the pace I'm going.
The TSX audio is decent, but the speakers themselves are awful. I just replaced my speakers, and the stock speaker magnet was only slightly bigger than a quarter! check out my photo album below to see it.
I think electronics-wise, the TL is much better since it's pumping a lot more wattage than the TSX one, and a lot of reviews rave the TL sound system.
